When the invitation came to join a few colleagues on Regent Seven Seas Splendor, I didn’t hesitate for long. How could I? Not only was it a chance to experience one of the newest and most elegant ships at sea, but the itinerary was absolutely irresistible - every single port included at least one overnight stay. For someone who loves to explore destinations beyond the quick glimpse of a single day, that was the perfect setup.
Our voyage began in Monaco, where glittering yachts lined the harbor and the air was filled with that unmistakable Riviera glamour. From there, we sailed to Salerno for two unforgettable nights exploring the Amalfi Coast, continued on to Kuşadası, gateway to ancient Ephesus, and ended with an overnight in Athens, a city steeped in history and mythology.
Between the luxurious ship, the thoughtfully extended stays in port, and the incredible mix of culture, cuisine, and coastal beauty, this cruise promised to be something truly special - and it delivered in every way.
